PSU SATA cables for HDDs won't fit inside new case

I received my new Corsair 760t yesterday and all I've had is small problem one after the another. My main concern is when the HDDs are in the drive cage, the connector ports face the side panel of the case (the same side as the rear of the motherboard), and the SATA power cables from my PSU stick out, not allowing me to close the side panel. The PSU I have is a Corsair TX750M.

I had to start off by turning the SATA connectors themselves around because they were upside down when trying to daisy chain the HDDs together, but now I have the problem of being unable to fit the cables inside the case with the door closed. I've researched builds with this case and everyone is either using SSDs and/or a single HDD.

Could someone shed some light on this please.

Much help appreciated

I believe the problem is the plastic connectors sticking out too far from 3.5" drives in the lower bays not allowing the side panel to fit. If it were just the wires, then it would just be a matter of squeezing them in. Even the flat connectors in the middle are too big? (You don't have to use the one on the end with the standard plug, if applicable, depends on your power supply what shape of connectors you ended up with)

Have you tried putting the hard drives in the other way. Less convenient, but are you planning to take them out often?

@BadAsAl I'm using the Corsair Graphite series 760T. In terms of the Y splitter cables I think this may work better than my sleeved cables coming straight from my PSU as they don't flex at all.

Do any of you guys have any pictures you can share of your cable management inside your cases relative to the HDD cages and SATA power cables etc?
