[SOLVED] PSU/Screw/Warranty

Hello, recently i've bought a Coolermaster psu. Everything works fine, no issues. However, i've noticed something while installing it, i screwed just a vent hole instead of screw hole and that vent hole is a little bit widened.
I ran stress tests, played games, everything is ok but i want to ask something, is warranty void ? I mean, it's just a screwing mistake and i'm %100 sure i didn't damage any important components inside the psu because i checked the images on the web, which shows inside of the psu.

your fine. been there done that, I think almost everyone has inserted a screw in the wrong spot at least once.

as long as the screw did not push a circuit or capacitor off the board, which is highly unlikely considering the length of the screws in question, you are good to go

Yes i didn't damage any capacitors, board circuit etc. Just a plastic transparent cover that's all. I want to ask again to be sure, in the future if something happens to my psu and i send it for RMA, is warranty void ? This psu has 5 year limited warranty and i just bought it yesterday.

if your stressing about it the warranty terms should be available online and a quick perusal of that should settle this.

I checked and it says something about
"Any damages unrelated to manufacturing defects. "
"Accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or other acts of nature, commercial or industrial use, unauthorized product modification or failure to follow instructions included with the product. "

I'm a bit confused, so if i'd damaged the capacitor or circuit board and psu failed, my warranty would be void i think. But in following years, if something happens (a typical psu failure NOT because of the user/me) to psu, i can RMA without any problems. Correct me if i'm wrong.

the damage they refer to must render the unit faulty.
if I cut the wires off they will not replace the unit. the wires are required for the unit to function. a small scratch in the paint only serves to act as a grounding point.
if there is a scratch on the chassis and a faulty capacitor blows up, they cannot refuse the warranty because of the scratch. the scratch is cosmetic and bears no weight in the functionality of the unit, the faulty capacitor is required for the unit to function and as long as you did no damage to parts like those they must honor the warranty.
