Hi,

I have a power supply Seasonic X-series 850w gold, after almost 6 months, it has failed to bot my pc , but my mobo has a lit power on it (orange color), my mobo is gigabyte z77-ud3h, so I go to a store where I buy my PSU and after a week, they replace me a new one and after almost 4 months, my PSU failed again, same problem, my mobo has a power lit, and now it will takes time for my PC to power up about 1 0mins.

Has anyone experience this and what's the problem. Is it really my PSU fails again? or some other components on my pc has wrongly connect to my PSU? My first PSU that fails works flawlessly about 6 months and now the replacement works ok for about 4 months.

Hope you can share on your knowledge. The store I was purchasing In doesn't told me why my first PSU failed, it's good to know why it fails so that I can prevent it.

Im having a similar problem with my Mobo right now im trying to see what the issue is Ive emailed the manufacture and sent out a couple forms to see if anyone has an Idea. I don't think its the power though.

that seasonic is a nice build psu with no sub standard parts , and unless it was just a bad unit out of the box it should of done the job easily for you [its the unit I am using now ] it don't break a sweat on this rig or the last one it was on . it to me is a top tier unit built with top tier parts [opinion]

but seeing 2 units failed at the same time frame kinda points to something degrading the units within 4 to 6 months of use
