Psu size issue, I'm currently running a intel core 2 duo E7500 2.9Ghz cpu on a MSI G31TM-P25 mobo, 3 gb 800 mhz ram, with a gts 250 1gb gpu , 2 3.5 hdd. on a 420 watt psu. I got gifted a NVidia GTX 1070 FE can i switch out the gpu's and stil use this Psu? if not what size is recommended if I want to upgrade system to a Core i7 6800k 3.4Ghz cpu, MSi X99A gaming pro carbon mobo, 4x4gb ddr4 crucial ballistix 2400 Mhz ram, Corsair Hydro H100i V2 liquid cooler with 2 Nvidia Gtx 1070 gpu's? Do you have any suggestions on the upgrade system?

A 420w psu is somewhat small to be pairing with a gtx 1070. Especially if it's a budget lower quality unit and an older model (psu performance tends to degrade over time). I would get a new psu rather than risk underpowering or potentially causing the psu to die, short out and take that new gpu with it. For sli gtx 1070's it's recommended to use a 700w unit.

Something like this would be a solid 750w unit around $100. That's the price point more of the better quality psu's fall in that wattage range.

There are several that are cheaper by $20-40 but I wouldn't personally use them, like the evga b1 series, corsair cx builder series etc. With over $1000 worth of...
