Hi, first time builder here!

Is the "Corsair RM 650 Gold" good enough for the below -

MSI 980ti
i5 4690k
Asus z97 pro mobo
Kingston HyperX 16gb (2x8) DDR3-1866
Swiftech h240x cooler
Fractal r5 fans

Seems to be okay on Pcpartpicker but I just wanted your opinions, thank you!

Hi, thank you for your response!

Would you feel a 650w Gold is enough to power it?

Unfortunately, silly me has already ordered the PSU and received it and it would be a hassle to have it returned and exchanged. So if it's good enough to do the job properly, I'm happy to build with it. That's my only worry really.

Hi, thanks for your response!

So you feel 700+ is the minimum.. I won't be doing any OCing as of yet if that changes anything, probably for a good while, in fact. I think by the time I do feel like OCing, I may just purchase a better PSU.

Yes that PSU is definitely enough to power it and its still a good quality unit.

Yes but I personally don't recommend it, the psu can get hot which reduce the efficiency of the psu. For now, my RM 650 is running ok but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone
