My current VGA seems to have died (R9 290X) and Im looking for a RX 5700 XT due the pre-release price drop, now Im only waiting for the custom models (due the bad refrigeration from the base model and giving nvidia some time to do another move like the one they did few days before the Radeon's launch day). While I wait, Im researching about the power demand of this new build I will own. My current PSU is a 620W Seasonic and the recommendation from Radeon for the RX 5700 XT is a 600W PSU. Im covered here but I think I will be on the limit so its better to change the PSU anyway. Heres the thing; vendors are selling 800W PSUs by twice the price of the 700W ones, so Im inclined to buy the cheaper one. Will I run out of power if I start overclocking both my VGA and my CPU???

700W will be MORE than enough. You'll probably find 750W are probably a better price tag though.
A good quality 600W would still be more than enough. I'm guessing if yours is a SS 650, it's probably a M12/S12 or a EVO?
What is the rest of your system spec?
