PSU swap seasonic x series 660 for 850Watt

Hi all,

I have just bought a second 670 to SLI, and playing far cry 4 and other games, it seems to drop frames at an instant, or HARD freeze my PC, resulting in me having to hold power button down to turn it off.

Im going ahead with my power supply not having enough beef for SLI with 670's?

I bought my seasonic x series 660watt PSU 2 years ago, and today i want to buy an 850watt seasonic x series. SALE!!, question is..........will i able to just pull out the old PSU unit, and chuck in the new one, with the cables just plugging straight into the new PSU, so i dont have to pull all cables out and do cable management again.

2 - 670's should be run with a at least a good 750w.

Buy the 850w you need it to stabilize your setup.

Use the cables that come with the 850w.

Just swapping out the PSU might work sometimes they change to plugs/wiring some so it also might not I would swap all of it out since your probably going to sell the old one.
