I have a corsair hx850 and just yesterday its begun a constant clicking sound, like a static electricity or something. The ticks don't seem to change under load. I would describe them as constant, maybe 2-4 per second. I've been told its probably a hard drive or the psu fan. I've removed hard drives and the sound continues. As well, the psu fan isn't even spinning yet due to no load and the sound still persists. I desperately don't want to RMA since I'm actively using this computer every day, however I do have a tigerdirect store near me with another hx850 in stock. I don't want to waste 150 on a new psu, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to have a second laying around, or I could sell it when I get the RMA. Unless of course, there is some simple fix to this, or it somehow is the fan even though it's not running and I could just replace that?
