PSU Tier question regarding XFX TS 650 80 + gold and the 550w version.

Hi there

Im just wondering, is the XFX TS 650 80 + gold on the tier 2 list?

Also , in regards to the volume of the unit, will hey have the same level of noise? Would it be the 650 or the 550. I hope that the 650 is the quieter psu as well as having more headroom. Either way, happy days.
Any information you can share regarding this and my i 5 6600 build would be truy apreciated.

550 W is more than enough
650 W is enough to power low-power GPUs

well not quite.
got more wattage and the fan controller is quieter, like in Seasonic G series

The Seasonic G Series units are not the quietest. Don't think the XFX TS units are either. But still fine.
