my current build is here. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/vzWg6h

i'm buying the sapphire this month as its on sale and fits into my budget. i'm also looking for a new PSU to go with it as my current one is trash now.

i am in the range of 70$ or so (flexable for a must have deal) and would like a gold or silver certified at the very least (gold preferred). im looking at the 600w to 750w range to be safe.

i am fine with waiting for a sale as black Friday is coming up but i'm clueless with PSU's and don't know even what to look at or what is well made.. any helps is greatly appreciated.

Power Supply: XFX TS 650W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply...
If you want to wait until Black Friday, good brands to keep your eye out for are:

-EVGA: B2, P2, GS, and G2
-Seasoinc: X series, S12, M12, G series
-Antec (High Current Gamer models)
-XFX Pro series

I have also added two current choices for you to look at for price points below.

This is one of the best 650w gold PSU's you could currently get in that price range:

Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA GS 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($79.99 @ NCIX US)
Total: $79.99
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

If you're looking for the best 'budget buy' that would also still power your rig reliably, the bronze EVGA 750 B2 would also be a good choice (still a good quality PSU):

Power Supply: EVGA 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($44.99 @ NCIX US)
Total: $44.99
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

i will be snatching up the seasonic 650W (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seasonic-power-supply-ssr650rm) that blackbird recommended. beautifully priced without a major rebate so i dont have to wait for the money to get back in my pocket. i thank you guys as i didn't really know where to begin to look.

The XFX Blackbird listed is still on rebate, as is the EVGA 750B2 I listed at the top.

I know rebates aren't as good as straight discount, but as far as I can see the current quality non-rebate PSU's only start at around $70 right now, and that's around the same starting price as the rebated PSU's we've already linked.

Or you could wait a little longer between now and Black Friday to see if any more deals spring up.

well the largest reason rebates are out the window for base price is im in college and on a pretty strict budget for my parts. im pushing the limits as is to get the R9 390 i may go for the XFX if not ill just wait and search around for black friday deals, im just really hesitant due to jump on parts at times because i am on a budget
