Ok so i have a slight problem. I have just purchased this GPU https://www.overclockers.co.uk/powe...raphics-card-black-friday-deal-gx-197-pc.html.

I currently have this PSU https://www.scan.co.uk/products/700...-plus-white-single-rail-53a-120mm-fan-atx-psu.

My old graphics card does not need power from the PSU so i do not have any relevant cables and i cannot find my PSU box to see if it came with any.
The new card requires 8 pin and there is 8 pin free on the PSU however i have no idea which cables will work with these components.

Cheers.

Solution
PSU modular cables aren't standardized, you'd pretty much have to find some made for that PSU.

Or take this opportunity to get a new PSU, as that one does not look great.
Is not worth to buy an new PSU, just buy another PCI-E 6+2 cable and you will be fine
Can you actually find somewhere selling cables from this PSU? As I said, modular cables are not standardized on the end that plugs into the PSU. You can't just buy any old PCIe 8 pin cable and have it be guaranteed to be compatible, and if you try it and it's not it could damage your graphics card.

Considering it's a bottom of the barrel quality PSU it's a good idea to get a better PSU.

Sadly I dont have these cables anymore. Im not sure which cables i can buy which would be a suitable replacement.
I'd call it a blessing, that PSU isn't good, and powering a RX 590 with it could end badly.
