[SOLVED] Psu too weak?

I have a 650W Thermaltake smart psu and my pc sometimes just crashes. Doesn’t seem to be overheating and everything seems stable I wouldn’t know what else could be wrong.

If the PSU is performing like it should be it's more than enough power. It's not a very good PSU in terms of quality and reliability.

When does your computer start to crash? Like while gaming or basic stuff?

Yeah bro never cheap out a psu always try go get a high quality one, cause you know a power supply could blow whatever’s connected to it.

It crashes randomly sometimes it doesn’t even let me turn the pc off but today i was just playing jackbox which should not be intense. Sometimes it turns off when just typing on docs or something

Well I’m not an expert like 71 but I’m guessing it is your psu. How long did you have the power unit?

Is the psu working fine like is it making any noises like buzzing, and is the fan spinning?

It isn’t making any noise and i do think the fan is spinning

Well, okay if you do have any other friends that has a computer. Try asking them to borrow their PSU for a quick test to make sure the power supply is the problem. or if not you can try buy a new one if it really does solve the problem. If you are planning on buying a new one. Look at blackbirds suggestion at his link. Cause those PSU units are more than enough.

What speed is your memory set to in your BIOS? Are you overclocking anything?

Have you tested your memory with an app like memtest?
