Question PSU upgrade for Dell Optiplex 990

Hi,
I have a Dell Optiplex 990:
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz
Installed RAM 32.0 GB
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch Pen support
Edition Windows 10 Pro
Version 21H2
Installed on 4/14/2022
OS build 19044.3086
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19041.1000.0

currently with a NVIDIA GeForce GT730, but I'm using Photoshop and Lightroom which worked very well for quite a while, but with all the updates it would now require a GPU:

with DirectX12 support (level 12.0 or higher), 4GB of GPU for 4K displays or higher, less than 7 years old

I also consider adding the Topaz AI Photo Improvement app which requires a GPU 900 or higher.

I contacted NVIDIA to check whether my system would be able to handle the RTX3050 (which would give me enough performance), but they told me that I would need an upgrade of the PSU to at least 400W (I have currently 265W)

And here is the question: does anybody know whether I just could replace the 265W with a 400W PSU and then replace the DT730 with the RTX3050. Would this work? Would my system be able to handle these changes or would I have compatibility problems with other components?

Hello! Just wondering if I can upgrade my Dell Optiplex 990 CPU from a i5 2400 to a i7 2600k. I saw many people saying that the i7 2600 is compatible but i want to know if the i7 2600k is compatible due to me wanting to possibly overclock in the future once i upgrade. Thanks a million to anyone...

Thanks a lot guys. The video really helped! I'll get a 500 or 600 PSU and a GPU that will fit (length wise) and then I should be good for some time, because it's more than I need for now to run Photoshop/Lightroom and Topaz.
