PSU Upgrade Question

I currently have a 500 watt I am wondering what I should upgrade to. I am thinking 750-850 watt. What should I look for to make sure it's a good one? I'm leaning to EVGA brand. Recommendations? Current CPU is FX6300 and a 750 oc 2gb. MoBo is GA-78lmt-usb3 6.0. I will upgrade the GPU first then MoBo and CPU later.

Why do you need to upgrade? usuagly, a good 500- 550 watt PSU is all you really need.
What is your current PSU (not just wattage)

If you are looking for some really good models, a evga g2/g3 or corsair rmx 650 or seasonic g 650 will do.
On the cheaper side, the new corsair cx 650 2017 model is good.
650w is all you need even for a 7700k/1080ti combo.
