So I just bought a 600W 80+ bronze EVGA power supply from eBay for a low price. At the moment I have a CX500M 500W corsair power supply and it is not handling power draw very well. If I overclock my rig, my PC will just switch off.
I think 600W 80+ Bronze should be enough. Thoughts?
Here is my rig:
CPU - AMD FX-6300 (Stock)
RAM - 2x8GB Hyper-X 1866MHz
MOBO - Asus M5A97
GPU - R9 280X
Boot Drive - Intel 730 Series 240GB SSD
Other Drives - 2x Seagate SATA 7300RPM 1TB Hybrid Drives (2.5" + 3.5")
Got 6 USB devices plugged in at any one time.
