Hello, i wanted to build an old pc back together and the place for the power supply inside the case is at the top, without any holes on the top.
This is because this is a very old case and the power supply with it had a fan on the behind, the same side where you plug in usbs.
And i wanted to use a new PSU, is it fine if i flip it upside down so the fan faces the open space in the case? Or will it break if its upside down?
Thanks

PSU fan is usually facing down. That's the normal way.
If PSU is located at the bottom of the case, then there must be vents under it.
If PSU is located at top of the case, then there's no need for vents at the top of the case.

Anyway - sounds like, what you're calling "upside down", is the way it's supposed to be.
