My pc has the following...

1x Intel i7 6700
4x 16gig Corsair Vengeance LPX
1 Corsair H100i v2
2x 1TB Samsung SSD
2x EVGA GTX 980 Ti Hybrid SLI

Question 1:
Will the RM850i be sufficient power for those components? It's running smoothly right now with just 1x GPU, but I plan on installing another GPU.

Question 2:
After implementing SLI, will I see a noticeable difference in graphics and performance or is it purely bragging rights? BTW, I'm only running one card and every setting is on Ultra, and it runs like butter!

Solution

Yes, the RM850i can power your rig in SLI mode no problem.
Games that support SLI will have great improvements. How much of that you actually see depends on your monitor.

The 850 will be fine, where as for the sli you will probably not notice a difference if your maxing out your monitors refresh rate already. You will see the bigger number though. Like i recently tested 1 titan x and then 2 in sli in BF4. The titans are barely better than the 980ti's in performance. I went from 40 fps with 1 to 60fps which is a 50% increase which isn't bad.
