PSU Wattage High Enough?

Current Specs:
MOBO- Ga-78lmt-s2\
GPU- GTX Nvidia 1050ti 4gb
CPU- AMD FX-6300
RAM- ddr3 2x4 8gb
PSU- 500w

I want to upgrade my CPU and MOBO, but I don't know if my PSU wattage is high enough. So if anyone could please tell me if I need to upgrade my PSU that would be great.

Future Specs:
MOBO- MSI B250M PRO-VD LGA 1151 Intel B250 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
GPU- Same
CPU- Intel core i5 8400
RAM- ddr4 2x4 8gb
PSU- 500w???

It will be good enough, but WHICH psu and WHAT model? If it is a poor quality PSU, then definitely not.

Yup, the quality is an absolutely crucial element of a power supply.

I will try to answer to the best of my ability but the people who made it are epower the thunder model alright quality i guess. Im not too good with power supplies

That is an *old* design, made by Topower and with second-tier, 85 degree caps rather than 105. Time to move on to a newer, higher-quality one.
