Hi :)
So I'm currently building a PC and am stuck on the PSU... I will be running an R9 290 with an AMD FX 6350 cooled by an NZXT X41 Kraken. I've been looking at a 550W PSU but I'm assuming it is rather overkill... If it is please could someone suggest a PSU that would be more suited :)
Thanks :D

Actually it isn't overkill... The R9 290 is a power hog, as is the FX 6350 after it is overclocked. ...and it will need to be overclocked. 550w would have you on the edge. 650w is a better size for that system plus minor upgrades. Look first toward XFX or Seasonic, then turn to EVGA B2 or Supernova if needed. The Seasonic 620w looks pretty solid as does the SuperNOVA GS.
