Hello.
I have a problem. I think is my PSU but I'm not sure.
I spent whole day to search what make a noise from my case and I can't solved.
Sound is like clink. When I turn the game, sound stoped. I have a video but I don't know how to upload.

Thanks for answering and sorry for my bad grammer.

Clinking noises are likely to be a fan but if you have a hard drive it could be dying. Try running an app that does a S.M.A.R.T. test and be sure SMART is enabled in bios prior to that. SMART tells you info about your hard drive, like how long it takes to spin up, etc. The application would break down the codes so you can see what is really happening with it. Suggested applications? Not sure if they have it or not but AS SSD and the HDTune (and other things made by this company may work. For the latter you may have to run in a former Windows Mode.

Fans to check: Fan on video card. PSU Fan. CPU Fan. Systems fans. Wires sometimes hit fans. Make sure you have some good organization inside your case. Besides a fan or the hard drive, not much else in a system would clink as there are usually no other moving parts.

Thanks! I check video card fan and cpu fan and they are ok. I try so hard to make organized a case. Hard drive is new(WD 1000gb blue). maybe 7 month but I will check with app. I buy a used psu but high-quality( XFX 650WPRO). 2 years old.
Maybe a stuped question but how to check PSU fan?
Could a PSU suffer a damage while I opened it or experience a stress? I something read about it on other forum

Hard drives can go anytime. Your PSU fan should rev up under load. You could try taking it out of the case and observe it as you load your system. Just make sure all the wires are clear of fans and it's not pulling on anything.

The PSU will not be damaged if you're careful. But if it's still under warranty, opening it will void your warranty. If you DO open it up (to replace the fan which may not be worth doing but could be) be very careful about touching capacitors. They can hold a charge for years. The fan is usually attached to the circuit board near the edge and can be replaced. Most use a 120mm fan these days, although it could be 140mm or something else. You'll have to measure it. If it is bad, you should be able to look at the sticker and try to match it with another online. Exact model is not necessary, what matters is amperage and voltage and mounting holes. The pin count (is it a 3 or 4 pin connection to the circuit board?) matters as well. 3 pin usually means you have a positive lead (red), a negative lead (ground, black), and a yellow RPM feedback (which tells the internal workings how fast the fan is going). A fourth pin (any color but often blue) means it is a PWM fan. They usually cost slightly more and are often quieter. For more info on this read here:

Some PSUs will have a different pin arrangement to make replacing the fan yourself a bit more difficult. The OEMs like Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc are notorious for this - they do the same thing with front panel and USB headers. All you have to do is match the new fan to the old by switching the pins around. There are kits and tools to do this that will cost a bit but not a lot. If you plan on building PCs for years to come they can be a worthwhile investment.

I own something like this:

I also own an 18-22/24-30 AWG crimping tool. Check out some modder store sites to find a good one. I don't have a photo and can't really find one, but if you look around you'll figure it out. It's really handy if I need to put a new header on a wire, or rig up something like a molex connector onto a fan.

I can't describe how grateful I am for your advised. Thank you very much!
I will post how it goes with psu. Maybe just dust on fan make that noise. If I need to replaced fan I think I will rather buy a used Psu and replaced it. Doing with does tools and eletricity,I'am afraid that I would have more problems with it than good.

No,I haven't warranty.
I just come back from job. I didn't open psu, just blow out psu, cleaned with brush part that I can reach. Computer now working 20 min and for now clink sound is gone. My fears are fortunately not come true (had to buy another used psu or buy fan for psu because buying a fan I will be waiting 3-4 week that he would come to my country(Croatia)) and I hope problem is solved.

I don't know how to thank You in so many tips(advice) and patience answering on my questions!
