PSU wont start

So i was playing bf1 and all of a sudden my pc just shut off,i tried to power it back on but nothing.
So when i press power button on my case PSU make click noise and nothing,so i tried to troubleshoot and found out when i unplug connectors from PSU that is connected to GPU pc boot just fine.i done everything but no help at all.GPU fans do work when i just power pc without connecting GPU to PSU.Is it dead GPU or somethings wrong with PSU? oh and i tried my bros GPU and it worked like charm i just dont know what could be the problem,please help me i dont know what to do

GPU:Sapphire R9 290x tri-x
PSU:Coolermaster V750
MOBO:Gigabyte GA-97P-D3
CPU:Intel 4690k

If you realy dont have anyone with 8 pin PSU, but they have good Power supplies you can buy adapter from 2 molex to 8 pin and try it like that.
Use this only if they have GOOD powersupplies.

If you can, check the R9 290x tri-x in your brothers system to eliminate that possibility.

I think it's the PSU and the only way to tell 100% is to swap the unit out with a known working unit of the same or higher Wattage. Even tho voltages may read OK in Bios it does not mean the unit works OK when under load. A failing PSU can damage other MB components.

Yeah i tried to test my gpu in my bros system but he dont have 8 pin connector :\
Oh and one more thing how can that be psu problem if my brothers gpu worked just well in my system?

Then your GPU is problem I think :/
You must try it at someone who has 8 pin connector
