Question Psu works but nothing else does

I am building my kids a desktop with an amd ryzen 5 3400g, ASRock b450m pro4, 2x8 g.skill aegis 3200 MHz, Adata xpg sx8100. I turn the power supply on the speakers make the sound they make when applying power I hit the power button on the case nothing happens I took the connector off at the motherboard and jumpered the power switch nothing happens. When I put the cpu in place it dropped right in no resistance or anything. I unhooked everything but the ram motherboard and cpu still nothing I tested with one stick of ram and swapped I also changed out with another psu that I tested and still nothing. It has an integrated graphics card so no issue with the graphics card, I will remove case fans tonight when I get home from work to make sure they aren’t shorting out. Does anyone know of anything else I can try?

Breadboard it.

Take it out of the case.

Only connect the PSU to the motherboard, the cpu in the motherboard, and one ram stick. Nothing else, not even ssd.

Bridge the pins of the motherboard to turn the PC on.

What sound do the speakers make? A beep or some combination of short and long beeps?

If so, those beeps are error codes and can be used to troubleshoot the desktop build.

No it’s jut the electrical pop of when they first get power it’s before I hit the power button in the case only the psu is on, I will take it out of the box when I get home in a couple of hours and try it

Went home figured worth a try so I powered it up and it turned on I’m assuming I didn’t reset the cmos correctly and that’s what it needed because I had it unplugged, thanks for your help
