would a coolermaster 500w support amd phenom 2 x3 720 and powercolor hd 4850 with mild overclocking(cpu and gpu).
if not then how about a 600w psu ?

depening on the efficiency of the cpu i think its 81% better off going for the 600 i have the 650 myself cause its better to have a little more and not need it than to need it and not have it
it also pays to think what upgrades you may do down the road and a ps can last a while

Hi!

That PSU can handle those parts.
But if you have not bought it yet,have a second thought.

The CM PSU's are not very good.Antec Corsair OCZ make much much better PSu which will last you for a longer time.
