I currently have a Corsair GS700 PSU powering my rig with one GTX 780 in but i'm deciding to treat myself to a second because i can't be bothered to wait for Maxwell and i'm getting a 120Hz monitor as a present for my birthday.

So, i know my GS700 isn't going to cut it baring in mind i'll oc both cards and my cpu is oc'd as well. I just wanted to hear what people think the best option is value for money on an upgrade. I don't really want to spend much money as i'm pushing it as it is and I have twins on the way and all my moneys being saved for them other than this small treat for my self.

I was looking at a used GS800 because its only round £55 and i can get some of the money back selling my GS700 but if I could find something similar in that sort of price range modular id'd prefer it. Also is 800w cutting it short if i oc? My rig at the moment is as follows:

Sharkoon t9 ATX case
MSI Z87-G45 Gaming mobo
8GB Corsair Vengence 1600mhz RAM
Intel i7 4770k @4.2ghz
Coolermaster 212 Evo
GTX 780
Corsair GS700 SPU
Intel 80gb S3500 SSD
Samsung 500gb 7200 rpm HD

Let me know what you all think, any feedback apreciated. Cheers.

PC part picker estimated my wattage at 681w. Thats both 780s beeing the EVGA super clocked models as well which im buying. My current 780 is a palit card not the jet sream model either. Wouldnt 800w be stable even if 850 was reccomended?

WOW! the FSP Booster is something i'd never even heard of. If anything i don't want to get rid of my GS700 because it cost me the same as the XFX when i got it. and isn't worth much any more so selling it could be a pain also. Checked the reviews on that supplementary power supply and all seems good for what i require. Do you know if i'd power both cards from the FSP or just the additional one?

PS very hard item to try get hold of, especially in the UK. Any alternative items like this?
