PSU's keep failing

My PSUs keep failing. I built my own computer, and I was using the integrated video chipset. I finally bought a video card, that said it needed a 550 watt PSU. so I bought one, exactly that much and put in in my computer. While waiting for my video card I had no problems. When my card arrived I plugged it in and had a good time. Whenever I played a game however, my computer would randomly turn off. To overheating I was guessing. However then my PSU turned off, and won't work. The mother board lights stay solid, but when I hit power, my boards Q-codes flash and nothing happens. I went out and bought a 575 watt PSU and the same thing happened. Randomly shut off and then never worked again. What can I do to stop this from breaking another PSU.

Solution
Get yourself a reputable brand like a seasonic, Antec or EVGA.

Edit. I changed the list, initially I proposed a 500W PSU and then I realized you said you needed a minimum of 550W.

Also, interestingly, AMD has a list of recommended PSUs on their website: http://support.amd.com/en-us/recommended/power-supplies
The two PSU's are Logins. Not too sure on the models. My computer is running an AMD A-10 5800k 3.8 ghz Quad Core prossecer, a Crossblade Ranger motherboard, and a 6970 Radeon HD Dual fan GPU. As for things connected, all I have is a mouse, keyboard, ethernet cable, and the DVI input. Also I live in northwest washington. So itit never gets very hot here.

Actually I bought both of these from a local computer store. They were like 43 dollars each so not very expensive.

Solution
-Get this one is the cheapest good quality PSU. (It also great for any future upgrades)

-Here you can check which PSU are good (Tier 1 and 2 are good)

-Here you can see how much power does your GPU need

-I am 100% sure that the reason you PSUs failed is that they dont have enough amps on 12v rail
