I was wondering if anyone knows a good TV Tuner Card that will play Playstation games on my PC? I have one already but when I'm playing Playstation on it the movement is slow. It seems that the screen is dragging as I try to move around. Does anybody know a good card that will eliminate this? If I wanted to get a new Video Card down the road would the All in Wonder handle this job well? Also, does the actual computer system hamper the performance of the card? Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it. BTW, I currently own a KWORLD MPEG TVStation TV Tuner card.

i have an All In Wonder, it has an input adapter with Composite / S-Video and RCA Audio Jacks, I plug my Dreamcast into the adapter then launch my TV player application and switch the input to "Composite"...works great, looks much better than a standard TV.

Also, they make VGA adapters for PSX's, you can plug the PSX directly into a VGA monitor, bypassing the computer completely.

As far as the computer, I would not be to concerned with that, if the system meets the minimum system requirements to install an all in wonder, you are fine.

Awesome, I don't even use the Analog VGA port on my vid card, I use the DVI one for my LCD. I guess I'll get that and try it out. Also my Vid card has an S-Video jack, so could I use that? Question is, where would the S-Video cable plug into the PSX. I actually have a PS2, maybe it has that output. Anyways, thanks for your input. Anyone else have any suggestions on a good TV Tuner card or just want to share some info? Thanks in advance.

the vga adaptor connects the psx directly to a VGA monitor, not to the computer. If you have a flat panel using a DVI connector, the VGA adaptor would not work. You could look for a DVI adaptor for the PSX, I am not sure if they are out there or not but it's possible.

Regarding the connector, I was just mentioning that it also had a S-Video connector in addition to the Composite Video and Audio jacks (these are the familiar yellow, red, white RCA jacks that come out of just about every game system made, including psx/ps2).

Also, I believe you can obtain S-Video or VGA/DVI cables for your PS2.

Yeah, I misread your post, sorry about that. My Samsung 152T has both analog vga and digital dvi ports on the back of it so I'll be alright. Well I decided to go ahead and buy this adapter, tell me what you think, good buy?

looks good, was hoping to see some screenshots of what it would look like but i guess since it hooks directly to the monitor, screenshots are not possible. Not sure what that YPsPr thing is all about, some sort of PS2 quality feature I gather, sounds promising though.

Honestly, I would just go with S-Video/Composite cables they sell for $20 but that is just because I have S-Video and Composite Inputs on my PC (from the all in wonder) so if you dont have S-Video/Composite inputs, yeah, I would be inclined to check that out....sure would be nice to see it in action first though. If it is as good or better than the ones I have seen in the past for previous game consoles (i imagine it would be better) then it is well worth the $50

I'll be sure to update you on the picture quality and such when I get it. Thanks for your help, you lead me in the right direction. Here's a link to some pictures of it.
