PT6 unbelievably hot

I have a PT6 motherboard in a well ventilated case. Immediately after startup the ASUS probe shows the MB at 80 deg C and the CPU at 16 deg C. After hard running they go to 83 deg C and 20 deg C. I don't believe either. Ambient is 22 deg C. Any suggestions?

use this to compare temp on the sensor parts http://www.hwinfo.com/ it is free also when was the last time you dust off the system and the last time you repaste the cooler on the cpu you could have a sensor issue.
