More trivia: At the opening of the film, the van is shown leaving
for Punxsutawney on an on-ramp to a highway that goes westward out of
Pittsburgh. While that's a bit strange given that Punxsutawney is in
fact east of Pittsburgh, it makes more sense when you realize that most
of the filming was done in Illinois and California.
