pubg and my Ram

will my computer run pubg fine with 8gb of ram? i have a ryzen 5 1600 cpu, asrock b350 pro4 motherboard, gpu is gtx 1050 ti 4gb and my ram is 8 gb (2x4) ddr4 2133 . i know that the min requirements of pubg ram is 6 but ive read that some people have problems with the game using 8 gb of ram

Best way to find out is try it yourself. PUBG is on Steam and they still honor their refund program. Less than 2 hours of play time and less than 2 weeks of ownership will almost always get you a refund for whatever reason.

i was thinking of doing that. if a game were to take up more ram than what i have from a memory leak would it harm my pc?

No it will not harm the PC. You would simply notice momentary dips in framerate during gameplay. Not saying that you will, but that's a common symptom of not having enough RAM when playing a game.

okay thanks alot. this is my first pc i decided to build just for gaming so i dont know a whole lot about pc's when running games

If you ever get the chance to upgrade your RAM, it's recommended to always run a kit (all modules bought together, manufactured in the same batch) to avoid compatibility or instability issues. If you are able, buy a 16GB kit of 3000/3200MHz RAM and then sell your 8GB of 2133MHz. Faster RAM is becoming more important for better performance these days.
