Hello Community!
I have the following setup:
Ik have several beamers and media-players in a LAN all on static ip. There is one main control computer that tells the media-players what to play. They are all connected over a SP200 cisco switch. all in range 192.168.0.
What i want is to access the control pc over the internet so i don't have to drive over there every week
But i don't want the rest to connect to the internet.
There is no internet in-house. BUT we can get a internet connection from the neighbors across the street. So we made a point-to-point across the street. Internet works perfectly! BUT it's connected to port on the router that is also used for public guest internet. It's DHCP is enabled so i get a 192.168.1. ip. All my device freak out and stop working if i put the utp in the switch.
The next problem is that i can see all the connected devices from the neighbors. And if i can see them they can see me. Don't want that.
How can i get internet connection on the control pc without being afraid that they can mess up and access my own network.
TNX in advance!
Great Maurice
