Solution
Try running DDU from guru3d.com...follow the directions exactly to completely remove the AMD drivers and then re-install using the latest driver from AMD.com

If you're still getting BSODs it may be time to look at your PSU as the culprit...500w is on the low side...550w and up is the recommended size

Looks like you're having issues with your DirectX. It's possible there may be software corruption. Try running in command prompt as administrator: sfc /scannow
This will look for corrupted windows files. I recommend also updating windows if you can.

hi and thanks Newtonius,
i ran sfc /scannow and it showed no issues. windows is fully updated...im at a loss

Well given DirectX is installed with windows and you can't use the DirectX user-end web installer anymore, your last option would be to reinstall windows through Advance boot mode (holding shift button while clicking restart in windows).
I’ve already done a fresh windows install mate...you sure it’s a directs inside? If so I’ll look for a work around

Hi and thanks,
I’ve reinstalled drivers after using ddu in safe mode a few times, tried rolling back to a previous version as well but still not working. I have noticed a kind of coil whine noise coming from my pc which does seem to come from the psu area...it gets louder the more graphic intense the game is!! You think this could all be from the psu which is only 9 months old

Thanks for your help everyone. Been a couple of weeks using the new psu and everything is running great again. Playing red dead 2 online on max settings using 90% gpu and it hasn’t crashed once
