I have an old hard drive I'm going to use for something else. Is there a way I can take windows xp and store it on another hard drive/usbdrive so I can install it later? I can't think of any but us there any other important, or otherwise useful files that I would need to pull off the hard drive?

Support for Windows XP has ended, as far as I'm aware there is no way to copy the OS from one computer to another simply by copying the files present in Explorer - there are a lot more files that exist outside of simply the Windows folder.

If you wanted to reinstall XP you would have to find a full version installation CD package.
