Pump power onto a cpu_fan header?

I have a watercooler (MasterLiquid ML240L RGB) and I wanted to know if I could power the pump with a normal cpu_fan header or a sys_fan header on the motherboard.

Most closed loop watercoolers are designed to run on a regular 4-pin PWM motherboard fan header.

Unless the cooler specifically recommends a higher amp header, then either may be used.
