Question Pump powered but not moving coolant

Im at the stage where im currently filling the loop with coolant.

When i do fill my res up to start this, i turn the pump on via the power supply which is using a jumper (so only the pump is on), and i hear it turn on, but the pump does not move the coolant at all.

My pump is the EK XRES 140 DDC 3.2 PWM Elite Pump/Reservoir Combo. Its been powered directly to the PSU via molex connecter. Tried everything dont know what else could be wrong

Explain tried everything? If you can hear the pump, it should move coolant rather quickly. Theres nothing blocking the inlet/outlet? You may need to contact ek and do an rma if you've already tried some fixes and nothing is working.

When you are turning the pump on, are you sealing the pump/reservoir or are you leaving it open?
