Punching out holes?

Hi,

I have a Thermaltake V3 Black Edition case, and I'm looking to punch out some holes on the far right and bottom of the motherboard tray for the wiring... is it possible to do so? What would I need to get the job done?

NOTE: I'm replacing that mobo with a full-sized ATX one, so the bottom hole where the wires are currently being routed will be unusable... cables galore.

just go to your local diy shop

metal hole cutter

or metal hole puncher

though for safety you should remove all components and make sure any little fragments of metal are

removed before rebuilding the pc

Alright sounds simple enough. Since the motherboard's going out anyway, I'll take out the rest of the components as well.

By any chance... is there anywhere where I could find rubber grommets for the holes? Not necessary, but it would be a nice feature.

what country are you in?

car places like halfords in the uk sell rubber hole grommets--or indepedent motor factors are usually

even cheaper

like under £10 for a hundred

if in the usa your local auto shop will do them
