I downloaded Puppy Linux to a usb adapter, booted it up to the desktop.

I tried to connect to the internet, it recognizes an ethernet cable (the wired connection), but when Seamonkey opens, there is no internet connection.

I went through every adapter that it recognized and not one worked.

I notice that it is not seeing my wireless adapter that is usually listed in Device Manager in Windows.

Can I grab that adapter, put it on the usb. Would Puppy recognize it then?

I thought this was supposed to be so easy, yet I have tried everything to get on the internet, and I am still unable to connect.

Will do. Can you recommend a distro that will work with an old xp machine, a netgear WMA 1000 adapter? I may just keep ethernet, I rather like my ethernet connection, I do not have to go wireless.
