I wanted to know if running League Of Legends on Puppy Linux would be faster than it is on my windows 7 that I currently have to run it on. Puppy Linux runs from a computer's RAM just as I stated in the title. League Of Legends is currently playable on my computer which has windows 7, but I receive lag and issues while playing. League Of Legends is confirmed to work on Puppy Linux as well and I've seen a video of it working. I currently have this computer http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883114102 . Keep in mind that I'll have the game files saved to my hard drive when I attempt this. Thank you for any help with this.

1. League of Legends is not a native Linux application. If you want play it, you have to play it through WINE. This is something like a sort of emulator (search for explanation of WINE, because it is not an emulator). It should be slower than native version on Windows.

2. Executing Linux os in ram will not make the game faster. The game just would load faster, as it is not loading data from hard drive. Even if you install the game on hard drive, it would load all data to ram. Once loaded to ram, the performance should be the same. And you need a lot of ram, if you want to install LOL on ram, maybe 16gb (I don't know). Because the game would be loaded to ram + the install size.

I doubt that it would run faster. And if it would, what do you want run faster on that game? Important are cpu and graphics card. Besides that you pc does not meet the ram requirements.
