Question Purchased a new monitor: ASUS VS197DE and it looks off, not sure why

Here's an image. As you can see, it looks too bright, but changing brightness doesn't fix it, nor does the contrast and saturation, it still looks weird.

I'm using a 1050 3GB, with my main monitor as the VS248. The secondary monitor, the one I'm having trouble with, is connected with a VGA cable, then a DVA adapter into my GPU. I'm on Windows 10. I've checked the connection and it seems secure, the VGA on both the adapter and monitor is firmly seated and screwed in properly.

Can you try to color calibration via windows for that display?
What if you use another connection to new monitor, can you change via settings of monitor?
