Purchasing lga1155 processor in 2016

My motherboard:Gigabyte H61M-DS2 with lga1155 processor socket
Processor: Intel Pentium G860 3GHz dual core
Ram: 4 GB
HDD:500gb * TOSHIBA
OS: Windwos 8
Video Card: AMD Radeon R7 250
I would like to upgrade this old PC by purchasing a new processor and since going to Intel i3 will improve the performance it would be not as much significant as an Intel i5. And since those processors are 2010-2012 I don't know if they are manufacturing them currently. The question is can I trust amazon processors Intel i5 lga155? And if you could point out some models thanks.

you probably can trust amazon if they are listed as new, as they should be new, else you can complain to amazon. Ebay second hand is a possibility.

2500 or a 3570 would be good, but update bios first, if you happen to get a K then that's fine.
