Here's a link to the PSU - look at the top image please: thePSU

  1. There are 2 MB (motherboard) sockets on the PSU. One has 8 pins, the other 20. They are located at the top of the image.
  2. The cable provided for the Motherboard main power has 24 pins for the mobo side. Wonderful - no problem there.
  3. The side of the cable that plugs into the PSU has both a 20-pin and an 8 Pin. I can easily plug both of them in.
QUESTION- Do I plug BOTH in, or just the 20 Pin? Please remember this is one cable that has the 24 pin mobo adapter on the other side.

Thanks in advance- I don't want to just plug them both in and burn anything up.

as far as I remember seeing, the secondary was only for certain overclocking options.
ever since they have been available on my boards I have always connected them from the start because I knew eventually I would be.

has never caused any type of issues whatsoever through the last 3-4 builds of my own.
