Hello guys.

I am Cryorig H7 user and my CPU is intel i5-7600k stock. I have few questions to ask.
1. Recently my temps worries me little. Idle 31-35c, load 50-58C. Hottest core peaking ~65C. Is it normal?
2. I have spare fan that can be used as second cpu cooler fan/push pull configuration. But spec is bit different from stock H7 fan:
1. Stock fan
Rated Speed - 330 ~ 1600 RPM
Air Flow - 49 CFM
Air Pressure - 1.65 mmH2O
Ampere - 0.16 A
2. My spare fan
Rated Speed - 500~1800
Air Flow - 20.42~75.98
Air Pressure - 0.618~2.276 mmH2O
Ampere - 0.35 A

So which one should i use as pushing fan or pulling fan?

Thank you for your assistance.

Sincerely.

On a heatsink as small as the H7 I highly doubt adding another fan will do much if anything. Also I'd want it to have the same specs/air pressure to avoid issues. Maybe placing it on the side of your case (if supported) or somewhere else may be more beneficial not only to the CPU but your GPU as well.

Temps mentioned is stock/non-OCed temps. I’ve tryed OC to 4,6GHz, 1,25v CPU packege temp was 60-63C, hottest core was ~76c under AIDA64 CPU test 100% load. Idle around the same as non-OCed temp.

Oh nice, those are quite good for that cooler. So yea you have nothing to worry about, the system by default is setup to shut down the system if the CPU reaches dangerously high temps which would probably be around 100C. Anything under 80C for extended periods of time is safe.

I think temp can get even better if i use push/pull configuration. That’s why there is second question.

Every fan slots are full. At least changing stock H7 fan with high CFM fan would make difference. Am i right?
