We had a blip of a power outage--light that was on flickered off barely but my computer was on and and seemed to recover itself. But it came up with the Asus anti surge protection message and push F1 for setup. It doesn't seem to do anything. Are you supposed to push ctrl plus F1? Never had this issue before as used to have ups, but it fried in a bad storm last year and haven't managed to replace it yet. had to replace entire system then. Can I just push the restart button? Obviously this isn't my area of knowledge.

My system is a ASUS H81m-A BCP1 Bios
Intel H81
dual harddrives---Kingston SSDNow KC300 -Sata
WD Caviar Black Sata Dual Processor
Haswell S.1150 Core
PNY Quadro K2000Graphics Card
windows 7 pro
I don't know if I listed enough and or correctly.

Thanks
Vic

Thanks Karsten. The keyboard is wireless, and it would be connected to a USB. I did change the batteries to see if that was the issue. Will try a different keyboard.

Thank you for that suggestion Karsten. Plugged in the different keyboard and was able to push F1. Of course having never gone to the bios left me in super stress but managed to get through and windows rebooted. Thank you very much. Have a great day!
