Pushing NPCs aside?

Hi,
is there a way (without installing a new mod only for that reason, I
hope), to push aside NPCs standing in doors, staircases and other tight
places? I hate to wait 'til they 'decide' to walk somewhere else by
themself...

You could try pressing ~ to open the console, then typing RA
This will "Reset Actors", but won't work for some NPCs, like wandering
guards.
Unfortunately, you will need a mod to do this, and there are a couple
which do this quite well.

Why you so negative against mods? Most of them work very well and do
some great things with the game.

Sure, I'm using some, too. But in the end, you never really *know* what
they do, and if it comes out, that you don't like it as much as you
thought, it's too late. Example: The Giants-Mod. Hey, new, strong
Enemys! Giants! Dragons! Poorly animated, bad textures (maybe there's a
never version now, who knows...), making the game somewhat, well,
*ugly*. Best of all: The Pack-Nixhounds (Groups of maybe 5
Nixhound-Puppies). There seemed to be some bug in respawning: One day,
there were maybe 100 of them on the spot, the game slowed down to 0,5
frames per second, and I had a hard time killing them off with my
Armageddon-Spell (glad I had it, wouldn't have been fun to do it with my
sword *g*).
