Pushing the limits with LGA 775

How good is this rig and whats the reccomend card for the system.Id rather go with Nvidea Evga/Gigbyte.

Will this rig stand up to gaming i was thinking a GTX750 TI FTW but if theres anything stronger for cheaper id love to know and i dont want the R290

Can you even find a socket 775 board that takes ddr3 memory? Are you going to buy new. Either way the gtx 750ti will be the best card . Anything more will badly bottleneck that cpu.

Yes and alot of LGA775 mobo's accept DDR3 only problem is that they only take a max of 8GB and there is only 2 slots and its going to be a QX9650 OC 3.6GHZ

I had that proc 8 gigs of ram and hd6850 and it was a decent gamer at 1080p.
