yes thank you, thank you, that was it i had to connect the atx 12v cord to the mobo. IT actually booted up guys, LLOOOOOL, i know this was something simple but with your help i got it, it actually starts now, and tells me i have to connect the power to the video cord. THanks everyone, thanks alot.

see someone helped me put it together. WEll actually he just pretty much connected everything without telling me everything he was connecting, so i never really learned all that had to be connected. When, i was disconnecting everything, i must not have noted disconnecting that cord. Something so simple , all it took was something so simple, oh well, lol.

In my experience some boards do detect this and many BIOS have a POST code for it.

total bull siht', its not required and wont cause the system to not boot, but its there for diag if need be, people that hate the beep remove the dam thing.

no reason to get the childish attitude man, i was just making suggestions. i dont see you helping anyone? i personally own a few mainboards that do this and id be happy to dig them up out of my mother's basement, but even then you would come up with some lame excuse that your always right and everyone else is wrong... no use
