My HDD crashed no thanks to Fix Me Stick. Purchased & installed the new drive. I have the boot up disks from Dell & the factory boot from the CD works fine but most of the keyboard doesn't work at all. I am stuck at the beginning of Windows 7 installation. I have tried all different things & most of the keyboard works ok in Bios.

What do you mean "most" of the keyboard works in BIOS? ALL of the keyboard should work there, unless ofcourse you are using keys that don't have a function assigned to them. Did you try a different keyboard? Most of the options in the Windows setup are mouse driven anyway, at least till the setup if past copying files and installing Windows. You don't need the keyboard till you hit the place where it asks for the user account and PC name.
well usually in the installation you will see an accesibility option on the bottom right or left looking something like this in windows

Use the onscreen keyboard and then set up your license key and when its all set up everything should be working alright. If not install the keyboard drivers to your computer when the desktop is shown!

Thanks for the reply but I don't have a screen keyboard. In addition, I'm stuck at the screen that says "Windows 7" "My language is...."
