Put in new rx580 card and now my pc is shutting down. Help Needed!

PC shuts down after a few minutes. It wont reboot until I turn off the power to the PSU and then turn it on. Would love some recommendations on what to test first. Thanks!

The power connection from PSU to GPU is proper or not? I mean y r using any molex to pcie power adapeter to feed rx?

The connection is an 8pin Pcie and is a proper connection. PSU is some 600w power supply not sure on the model

The model is the important thing.

Please collect the model no/make of the PSU. It seems it is not a decent one to handle the power requirement of RX580.

Agree, 600w is meaningless without knowing the unit. Many low quality units barely meet half their quoted wattage.

As others have said it's probably the PSU not being good enough. I had an Rx480 and it needed 42A on the 12v rail, most cheapo PSUs aren't going to manage that. There should be a sticker on the back of the PSU that will give you all the ratings and the model number.
