Question Put my motherboard in my case on the carpet, is it a goner?

Okay, so forgive me for what I have done in advance but here's what I did: I put the motherboard on the carpet, then put it in the pc. I then forgot to put in standoffs, then turned it on. Is it a goner? I built it on the carpet too without a esd strap. For anyone wondering, it's a b450 tomahawk.

If u placed no standoffs, placing the Mobo directly against the case, AND POWERED IT UP, that baby is most likely gone, at least nothing blew up and hit you in the eyes.

You can move standoffs in an atx case to accommodate a micro atx motherboard.

It doesnt have rgb headers, but id rather have something functional without rgb than something nonfunctional with rgb.

Okay, so my ram already came in. It's 3000 mhz, will it support it?

That motherboard is about the cheapest i could find that still has features like overclocking and decent ram supoort.

So, I heard msi has a one time accidental coverage, is this true?

I dont know of any manufacturers covering physical damage like this.

Call MSI and tell them what ha0pened and see what they say.
If you send it without any coverage if feel for sure they would charge a fee.
