Question Put new PSU in and it won’t boot up past first page

I put in an 850w PSU. I was told it was plenty for what I’m running (nothing too big besides my radeon r9 290x) my motherboard is mid grade, with a decent CPU. It loads to my first screen then freezes. I can’t hit anything to do anything at that point it has to be turned out to restart
