Putting a windows 7 HDD on a windows 10 pc

Well this weekend i got an new pc and I installed windows 10 on it and from the second pc
I have (older) I want to take the hard drive from it which has windows 7 and put it on
the new one....

Can someone tell me if that is possible and I can just do it normaly or I should do something else first or I should format the hard drive i want to put.

Yes you can do that if you want to use the old HDD for extra storage on your new PC.

You can reformat it's partition(s) from within Windows 10 after you've installed it in to your new PC.
